Honest answers: have any of you ever known someone to win the McDonald's give-aways?
Have you even seen a local winner in your papers? Additional Details I should add the big prize . . . I just have my doubts about small marketing areas have grand prize winners versus large city areas where more advertising would be gained.
I've won some of the free food prizes once in a while, but never even heard of anyone winning the "big" prizes. Not even in a publicity campaign.
I did hear that a few years ago, that there was this major scandal at McDonald's where someone who was in charge of the contest was fixing it so that his friends would win all the "big" prizes. This was supposedly going on for years and years until they caught him.

Funny you bring this up because I used to work for McDonald's when I was in high school and I used to take cases and cases of the little hash brown pockets (which had the game pieces) everytime there was a promotion and all I ever scored was free food, I must have went through 1000's of these game pieces!

All I know is that I have been eating something from Mcdonalds at least once a day since this Pirates of the Caribbean contest started up and I haven't won one thing not even a free order fries and I never have seen anyone win.

I heard that the person who won the big prize for one of these previous similar sweepstakes through them won in the state where their main offices are. ...I'm doubtful about any of these so-called "contests".
