Here are a couple ways to boost blog Traffic:
1)Try to make it easy for people to subscribe to your feed.
2)Write on other people's blog but do not spam
3)ping your blog: what that means is it notifies search engines when your site is updated.

Write great content! Seriously though... One of the biggest things I have done is writing substantive comments on other blogs. If your comments are good other bloggers will visit your site. If they like what they see they will link to it. |

You have to get the search engines on your site. Search engines love quality content related links to your site. I found a great free site that puts "similar" sites in contact with one another in order to exchange links.
Not garbage links from unrelated sites in foreign languages...sites that the engines penalize you for. But high quality, similar content links.
