It would work out cheaper for you in the long term to hire a website copywriter now and add lots of content to your site. You could then work on building links into your site. This, in the long term will bring organic traffic, not paid for traffic.

Google Adwords is the biggest place to get pay for click ads. http://adwords.google.com

SEO can take a long time to see results. If your looking for a lot of traffic right away then you need to pay-per-click or submit articles to directories.
If you want to pay per click go to adwords.google.com and set up and account. You have to make sure you do google adwords right though. So check out my resource box if thats the direction you want to go in.
