How can I create more site traffic on my website?

Please help. This is a new site that I have created. I am trying get more site traffic however I am not sure how to do that. Can someone please help me?

You need major work on your SEO metatags. Here's a helpful article:

Placement of Metatags:

A ranking or search order does take place with Google
and Yahoo and it begins with the "Title" metag which
should consist of no more than 65 characters separated
by commas. The "Title" should describe in generic

from which the resource is located, i.e., city, state.

There is good and bad news.

Here is the bad. Yours is not a web site. It is a web portal.

This means every thing you have is a duplicate of as many as 5097 other sites if not more.

Search engines will not list these.

So to get traffic will be hard. Your site is built on the premise that people are looking for you to give you their money. The only thing, there are a bizillion other sites doing the same. Your sites age (original age is July 23, 2002). It has no Alexa rank, no page rank, and only about 59 links total.

My public speaking site, http://www.speechmastery.com is only a few years old and it already gets close to 1000 visits a day and is close to the top 100K in Alexa. Any good site should at least be recognized by Alexa.

Notice that is is simplistic, no ads on the home page, no ads to be seen at the beginning of the pages and lots and lots of information. So what can you do?

Here is the good news. Within yours are a number of concepts that could potentially do great. In order to capture traffic, you will need to create a real website or blog, fill it with lots of information focused on just one niche.

I have three companies that I sell from just like you. Only thing, you will never see them on my sites. I only send a customer to the site once they are qualified.

Well the traffic isnt going to come overnight. It really does take a lot of work no matter what to get traffic to your sight.

So much depends on how much time you are willing to spend.

It seems too many people want to throw up a website and the traffic will just magically appear.

Now my partner and I run about 15 differant sites in one way or another and most of the time at least 10 of them are on page one on google.
