Ok, don't give up. I created a major turnover for my business which is all over the world now. So, I hope I can share my knowledge to you.
Forget about the emails, internet to find clients. Create a portfolio of your work. Whatever it is. If you have items you can photograph or have samples of your work.
Now, go out to network. Go to friends, families and get out there and talk to people by finding out network meetings of business people who come together. There you can share not just your ideas but really, your products or service. The word will get out this way.
Now, get some books on people skills and apply them. The world is full of people. Go out and share your products, carry your folder with you always and have a business card sorted.
You are not wasting time if you BELIEVE in your products. You just need to be creatve in your approach. tep back, get out of the box, and start going out to meet people. Find out every organisation meetings, festivals, gathering and go out and share your products etc to people.
Now, when you give your cards, see if you can make appointments to show your product range and that's your time to say, "how can I reach you?" Not, "Have you a mobile number."
Try build relationship with people. Business is not about business but about building relationships with people. So go out and build relationships, make friends, new associates and then open your window to your products. Then, if you are selling products online, you can move the traffic to your website.
People will go because now you created a foundation of relationship. Your not just a business woman but someone they know by name, have met, have seen and touched your product.
Get newspapers involved. Come out with a twist to attract newspapers. Don't give in like this but fight. Be someone who creates solutions when challenges happen because that's what entrepreneurs do. And you got it in you to do this.
