How can I get 60 qualified leads per month for my software company with a $100,000 budget?
Software company provides accounting & business management software to service oriented businesses. It has been around for a while and is widely recognized in the industry.
Additional Details
We already do emailers, mailers, postcard campaigns, 3 tradeshows that are widely attended and will begin a new Web site soon. Something seems to be missing or not working. We even run magazine ads and are already on both Yahoo! and Google AdWords programs with effective keywords.

get on the phone and start making cold calls. You will need perseverance and a rock solid pitch. Use the yellow pages to find suitable businesses.

When I was in software acquisition for my company, I had a vendor cold call me. She came in and demonstrated the software and we purchased it a month later. It was one of the best purchases that we made of software.

When I worked as a contract programmer for a software company that marketed accounting and inventory control software I would continually give them leads of companies that I thought might be interested. These were small companies that were advertising for computer programmers to maintain in house developed software. They sold three packages based on those leads.

Try www.infousa.com I use them for my biz. A little more expensive but you can really target your market.
E-mail me at scnotebuyer@yahoo.com if you need more help, I may have services your organization would be interested in.

direct mail, or email. 60 leads isn't that many, I'd probably cold call in person for a week ,that should easily get you 60 leads. BTW that must be an awfully powerful software program. My math follows.

60 leads = 15 sales $100,000 / 15 = $6700 per sale just to cover marketing. My advice hire sales reps.

IF you're already doing many things but they don't seem to be producing for you, then you've got to take a look at your strategy.

For example,on your website when users get there, what are you doing to capture their attention, really show them the product, and grasp their full attention.

Do you have a video presentation of the software, do you offer a free demo. Try to catch visitors information when they come to the site so you can follow up with them.

When they watch the video presentation of the software, make it mandatory for them to put in their name and email address and then follow up with them with a pre-set campaign of auto-responders.

Do you follow up with your postcards and mailers? Have you tried faxbroadcasting and strategic alliances?

Have you tried changing the copy, have you tested before you sent out larger mailing by sending samples of different copy to asmall portion of the list first?

Try:

http://www.overture.com/

These resources will leave lots of room in your budget. With that kind of ad budget, you could even do radio & cable TV commercials. Try:

With the list of methods you are already using, the first question I have is: How are you tracking the effectiveness of what you are already doing. If you are not using individual toll free numbers with tracking and recording capabilities, you may be spending money that is non-productive. Monitoring how calls are handled once generated is also a vital function as it may be more cost effective to spend additional resources on training rather than on generating more leads. Do you have 24 hour live operators available to take the initial call? Adding those services can increase effectiveness. Are you following up on every potential lead until they 'buy or die'? You may be sitting on a goldmine of unsold prospects and not even know it. Before you spend another dime on generating more leads, you need to do a thorough evaluation of the lead generation and follow up systems you have in place. Let me know if you need assistance with any of these suggestions.

I'm a professional marketing consultant and I provide services for free to my local businesses. The best I can do for you without sitting down with you to discuss your target demographic and product is to give a few highlights.

It seems like you are advertising to get new customers for sales instead of building name recognition/brand recognition. It also seems you have tried many of the classical ways to advertise.

You may want to consider changing your style of advertising to Brand recognition more: sponsor activities/charities, large signs with just your logo on them and nothing else at prominent locations (sports arenas, events, etc.), marketing items with your logo on them given to your clients, etc. The more often a name is seen, the more likely you are to get customers.

The second thing I would recommend is to try some of the less conventional forms of advertising. I list three websites under resources that are (widely different) newer forms of advertising that have had a lot of research done proving they work. While each of them may or may not be available in your area, there should be similar companies you can find.

If you do decide to go with any of the ones I have listed, let them know I sent you by to improve your brand name recognition and they will go out of their way for you.
