oh my god, me too. they ring me about twice a day. ive stopped answering the fone but it makes them worse. and the worst bit is they always ring just as my baby is dropping off to sleep. i told the woman off yesterday, i said youre waking my baby up, dont ring me again im not interested, she said ok, they are still ringing me too. i had the same with a mobile fone company and every time they rang, i answered and shouted F**K OFF straight away, they soon stopped, i will do this with british gas now, also try making racing car sounds, or just something silly. |

Tell them that you want to be removed from their database under the data protection act and they are no longer allowed to contact you via phone, email or letter. If they do ask them for a copy of their complaints prodcedure.

i find that after answering the phone to find british gas on the other end that this never fails to work
them - hello is mrs (enter surname here) there
me - who speaking please
them - its so and so from british gas
me - just one moment while i go and fetch them
then go and make myself a brew, play a game of chess, have a bath etc etc they will soon get the message and hang up
if that doesn't work change your number? |

Tell them you have requested no more calls a number of times and now consider it harassment, insist they send you their complaints procedure and inform them that if they continue then you will report them for harassment. |
