A successful advertising program is a long-term commitment that grows and shows a return over time. It makes better sense to put your advertising budget to use in a consistent, repetitive program and take out small advertisements on a regular basis, than to put all of your dollars into large, infrequent advertisings.
Choosing the medium or type of advertising can be especially difficult for a small business. Television, radio, major newspapers, and magazines with large circulations are too expensive for most small businesses just starting out. However, smaller newspaper and magazine publications can be highly effective and much more economical. If you decide to run an advertising program in a newspaper or magazine, I recommend running ads in a six-week series if they are dailies or weeklies and running an ad for six months straight if it is a monthly publication.

Use Video and Video Email! Drive more traffic to your website with EVERY email you send.... unless of course you only want to send text email! :-) Also put video on your website. You can do this for under $120 US a year... very powerful and will keep you ahead of competitors and up on the ranking scale.
Use viral marketing also - send out a vmail and offer an incentive to all fisherman to pass this vmail onto other fishermen.
Do you offer a mail order service also? I know this may be difficult with fresh produce, but can you expand your market!

All I can say to you on an honest basis is that some of these online opportunities are proven to be scams that is very true therefore it is about researching to see what is genuine and what is not however some people think that online businesses are get rich quick schemes which they are not they take alot of work just like any business however the rewards for that work will be good. I have been a personal development and success coach for 5 years not and the most genuine opportunity I have found is a 3 1/2 year old company.

Here's something you can do. Write some articles (that's free!) on the subject of your site. Put the articles online through a site like www.ezinearticles.com (that's free too). And if you're not sure about how to write articles, then go to the site I mentioned and search for articles on "how to write articles".
Another option might be to "joint venture" with other site owners that have products similar to what you offer (similar but not the same, for example a site that sells boats or fishing reels). Offer to put a link to their site on yours ... in return for you doing the same. |
