Try StumbleUpon at http://www.stumbleupon.com and add your site to your favorites.
You can try article marketing at an article submission service like http://www.ezinearticles.com and link back to your website in the resource box for your articles.
You can also comment on popular blogs like John Chow's or Joel Comm's that allow linkbacks to your URL. Do a Yahoo Search.
Create a video and upload it to YouTube with your URL flashed on the screen. All of these are free. |

Your site does not have much content on it. Search engines like freshly updated sites that don't just look generic.
Writing articles is a good way to get noticed too. Mostly, however, it is hard slog getting traffic. You need to learn all you can about how the system works, then implement that knowledge. I would recommend that you start writing articles and learn all you can about search engine optimization first.

Hello! I have been writing articles on the web and taking advantage of search engine optimization techniques for quite a few years now. I am not sure if my info will help you out or not, but if you are looking to work from home, write blogs, use SEO techniques, do affiliate marketing, etc. then you may be interested in looking at my extensive SEO stop words list.
I have compiled this list through years of experience, mostly by trial and error. This is a list of words that you can plug into any keyword/keyphrase without causing any problems in the total SEO effectiveness. For example, if you are going to use the keyphrase "Furniture Repair Dallas", it would be difficult to use the phrase exactly as it is written without sounding a bit ridiculous. Using a stop word, "in" for example, would make the phrase sound much more logical, changing it to "Furniture Repair in Dallas".
My list of stopwords is very extensive, and will help anybody who wants to use SEO in their websites or internet-related work.

You can pay for automated directory submissions, article submissions, bookmarking submissions, etc. When people come across those sites that have a link to your website, then BOOM traffic. And so instead of doing yourself it is probably better to pay, since it is time consuming to submit to like 10000 different websites.
