We have a new business and we need help getting stuff sold. Please check it out and be honest with what you think and see. What pictures we have are not many... we do all kinds of stuff with all kinds of colors, and children's stuff too. So please help us! We want to do well with this!

Here are some of my suggestions regarding your web site:
1) Many of your links are still under construction. As a browser, if I keep seeing "this page is under construction" for more than 2 pages on a site, I would probably just move on to some other sites and probably won't ever be back again.
2) Get some professional pictures of your items. By putting regular life pictures of the items on your site, it makes your site look more like a "garage sale" than a regular store selling brand new furniture.
The key of marketing is, you need to know who your target audiences are. I just started my own business to do web development. Being a recent entrepreneur, I can share with you a little bit of my experience. Here are some of my suggestions in regard to marketing your business:
1) Put up notes or notices in your local supermarkets
2) Put up notes or notices in your local community centers
3) Put up notes or notices in your local apartment complexes.
4) Put up advertisements in your local newspaper or on radio stations.
5) Use Google AdWords to direct users to your site.
6) Put up advertisements on some magazines.
Since I don't know who your target audiences are, suggestions 1 to 4 are very effective if you want to focus your target on your local communities. Suggestions 5 and 6 are better if you want to get buyers nationwide. And of course, from a cost perspective, suggestions 1 to 4 would not require a lot of money, especially, posting notes in your local supermakets/community centers/apartment complexes probably would not cost you anything at all. Suggestions 5 and 6 would probably require some more capitals. Considering that you have started this business, suggestions 5 and 6 may not be too feasible.
