How can I promote my blog?

I am looking for some new and interesting ways to promote my blog, aside from blog lists and submissions, adsense and keywords.

maybe a SEO expert can ring in on this?

Here are some ways you can promote your blog

1. Create great content â€“ everything starts with great content. Think 'Linkbait" -- or writing about stuff that would be so great that people will want to link to you. It can be a news hook where you write about something that is contrary to what everyone else is saying; resource hook where you have the only information available or humor hook.

2. Update the content regularly â€“ make your visitors come back again and again to your blog by providing daily updates (even multiple posts per day!)

10. Submit articles with your blog posts. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Add a link to your email signatures, online profiles, and even business cards (or personal cards if you have them).
Socialize online and ask to exchange links with others if they mention your blog.

I've had great success using ReviewMe.com. Just sign up (free) and depending on your budget:

1) Find other bloggers willing to do paid reviews that get decent traffic and are well respected (costs $50-$400 per review).

2) Start a new campaign. Put in $20/review (instead of the minimum of $10) and you should get some decent exposure. Try at least 5 reviews, 10 or 20 is better.

For a blog like this, I would recommend using a few places:

Use a MySpace profile and tap into the huge music groups there - post comments and topics in those groups with your link in them.

If you want to purchase views, and this has been successful for blogs, try out StumbleUpon.com.

Views are only .05 each and you can target your age demographic, and topic demographic - music/musicians.

If you have compelling posts that aren't laden with advertisements in your blog, both of these methods: MySpace and StumbleUpon should get you several subscribers a day/month depending on how much time you spend posting in forums or how much money you spend on StumbleUpon.

You can use online methods to promote your blog as shown in links below :

1) Use a blog ping such as the one at www.ineedbloghits.com, which will notify the search engines such as Technorati, Google and Yahoo that you've updated your blog.

2) Visit forums and blogs related to your topic and put your link down there as a signature, or in the website box as you leave a comment on someone else's blog.

This one is important as I notice you have a PageRank of 0. PageRank goes from 0 - 10, where 0 is like, nothing and 10 is fantastic.

3) Put tags or categories on each individual blog entry as some people "tag surf".
