f4o8r | How can I say "thank you for the feedback" in a very professional manner? |
Two months ago I sent my art to a US greeting cards company, and I finally got an answer (unfortunatelly they don“t want to use it now). Well, I“d like to know how can I say "thank you for the feedback" in a very professional manner and letting them know that I hope to work with them in the future. I know the question may sound really dumb, but since English is not my native language I“m having big trouble to write this message. Thank you!!! |

Dear So and So,
Thank you for the consideration and feedback on my work that I sent to you. I hope to be working with your company in the future.
Sincerely.
Your Name
Sometimes in any business letter it is a must to keep it short and sweet. |

At your rate of speed, I'm surprised you get anything accomplished. It's because of people like you we have to have a law for the minimum wage. |

say "thank you for the feedback and I hope to work with you in the future..."
you have the words already... send them to the right people ( the greeting card people).
If they gave you some useful feedback then I would reference that and say that with their suggestions you can only get better and perhaps next time they will find your art usable. |

"Thank you for considering my artwork. I appreciate your feedback and hope to do business with you in the future."
I'd keep it short and sweet. It will show that you are professional and not begging for a job. ;) |

To whom it may concern: (If you have a name, use it)
I would like to thank you for the opportunity to present you with my art work for consideration as an option for one of your highly recognized greeting cards.
Even though the interest in my work is not immediate, I appreciate any and all feedback you have provided me. Your professional and skilled opinion(s) have allowed me to look at my art work more closely and critique it to a higher level.
Again, I thank you for the opportunity for consideration, and I look forward to the possibility of working with you in the future.
Sincerely,
*Your Signature*
~ Best thing to do is be honest. Use grammar and spell check on Word so that any obvious mistakes can be caught. Also, if you have any friends who are more skilled in the English language than you (even a co-worker), ask them to read it and give you their input. Having other people's opinions is usually very good, in that you are able to get feedback from a reader, not just your own mind reading it. |

thank them for their time and ask if you can send them more ideas in the future. |

That is okay! When you are writing them, the last sentence can be "I look forward to your *" then fill in the * with words such as response, actions, and opinion. When you write back to them to thank them, tell them that you appreciate them taking the time to look at your artwork, and you hope to work with them in the future. |

say..
"Thank you for taking my artwork in consideration. Even though you could not use it at this time, I will be looking forward to possibly working with you in the future."
something along those lines...and if they gave you constructive criticism, thank them fir that too.
"I I also wanted to thank you for the constructive criticism. That's what makes my art better and more presentable. I appreciate what you had to say."
don't take my word for it, I'm just 16...but it's a start?
good luck. |
