I don't understand how all these abandoned dog charities can afford such aggressive advertising campaigns on television. Are they legitimate charities? Or is there something more sinister at work here? Or are the television stations waiving the fees? Someone explain to me! Additional Details If they have so much money, why do they need to advertise for more donations?
An item on Radio 4 BBC yesterday explained that most charities spend more on salaries, running their business, etc. than they spend on actually caring for the dependents - animal or human - depending on the type of charity.
Sad really.

Major donations. Some very wealthy people literally leave entire estates to them!!!!!

Animal charities make lots of money, but they are always after more - as are all charities! It must pay them to advertise or they wouldnt do it - they would have to do a cost/benefit analysis before investing in advertising. You should also bear in mind that charities dont pay VAT on advertising and they probably get a discount as well.
I have to say that I dont advise animal charities as I feel they get plenty of support already!
Only Me
They have enought money donated to help with all this
