No such thing. Never select family and friends. Your best bet is talking to the bank, or taking a on-line course in Business |

Always meet them in person don't trust somebody you only meet online and although it is wise to get them to put an investment in as well, sometimes somebody who is already in the trade with contacts can be a viable option but never never trust somebody 100% completly business is very cut throat in the real world nobody gets to the top of the tree by being nice. |

Make sure that they put an investment down along with you on the business insuring that they are really down for the cause of you and him/her running the business together. As far as dealer contracts. I'd get a lawyer and ask for a written official legal form. I'm not into law. However, I'm starting my own business as well, but I'm sole propertiership. I like it better that way for me. Running my business all by myself with no one involved, if something goes wrong I'm to blame plus I don't have to worry about others trying to tell me how to run it or being mad at me when something goes wrong. |

I would strongly suggest that if you want a business partner, that your partner should be somebody you know well alredy, or is a trusted contact or colleague from the industry you are already in. There is probably no harm in developing a business relationship with existing colleagues who you already know a little. I would be very wary of making business contacts via the internet if you have never met them and want to start up a business with them |

Don't enter a business contract with someone online. Meet them online yes but make sure you meet in person, Frankly you don't need a partner to sell your gems, do it direct |
