There are a number of different techniques you can use to advertise your affiliate website. They are all aimed at driving targeted traffic to your website. Now these methods work much better if you have you have your own website which then redirects the user to your affiliate page. By doing this you can add other affiliate programs or change affiliate programs without loosing all of the work you have already done.

The key to earning money with affiliate programs is by building an opt-in email list which will put your product in front of their faces multiple times. The average person will see the product/affiliate program 8 times before taking any kind of action.

With that being said, you will need to find a good autoresponder and write a nice email followup series with some really good information. If you do not like writing there are ghost writing services that you can outsource to write a good followup series. You should also check with the affiliate program that you are advertising because they might actually have a pre-written email series on their server.

Once you have your autoresponder in place you need to get people to opt-in to your newsletter/email series. You can use a variety of different methods to do this.
You can use traffic exchanges to show an opt-in splash page.
You can write and syndicate articles which your website link pointing back to your splash page.
You can use some viral list building techniques (see link below)
You can start a free blog at blogger and post coments in other peoples blogs with links back to your splash page.
