Mystery Shopping is NOT a scam, provided you are sensible about how you approach it.
First of all - YOU do not pay any fees. You are being paid to shop. The parameters will be quite strict (location, time, budget etc) and you will be expected to report back quickly. You will have to pay out up front and then claim it back. The companies know that there are plenty of willing volunteers out there so don't mess them around and they will treat you well too.
A reputable company I used to do stuff for was TNS and I still do stuff for Indiefield, both of which you can sign up for on the net.
Don't expect life changing amounts of work. It will be enough to treat you to an extra night out a month rather than a full time job. Treat it as a bit of fun, especially when having a meal out on the house.
Good luck.

Most Home based jobs usually don't pay off. Be especially wary of ads that promise huge annual salaries; they often require expensive upfront fees with no guarantee. You risk losing your money and wasting a lot of time and energy.
inorder to be a mystrey shopper you must have a valid cridet card and or ckecking account

Go to this website..it's the best one with McD's and starbucks and Pizza Hut. I use this one and it's definately not a scam. Ask one of these restaurants and they will tell you that they use them.

Its not that profitable but its good fun. You do need to be organised and have a good memory.

It is not a scam at all...!
If you are in the UK go to https://cybershop.gfk.com I do this and make quite a bit of money from it.
This particular company employs you, ie they pay your tax.
(this one is mainly shops and banks)
The other one is http://www.retaileyes.co.uk
This one does a lot of restaurants and food outlets, but you work as self employed so you have to sort out your own tax!
