The first thing you need to change is your title which is just "JTbids.com" right now. That will work if you've got a strong brand that people already know.
But you're an unknown - and thus you must make sure your title has the keywords that you want your site to rank well. Example can be "JTBids European Online Auction etc etc etc" -- just think of the keywords you need to rank well
Then put an ABOUT US page. People are more hesitant to deal with companies they know nothing about. And if you want users to trust you and use your site, you need to tell them who you are.

Viral Marketing this is through networks like my space yout tube and facebook etc, its called viral because if its funny or of interest people will forward it on and therefore it becomes "viral" as it infects many people as they are passing it on themselves. Very effective but it needs to be a good product to go viral
Freebies you can offer free things in your case free feees on the auctions or credits fopr purchases or something that will drive people to purcahse or sell on your site.
Email Marketing you can pronote your site to an approved list of auction users emails. make sure the content you write is captivating.

I think SEO is important - how well optimised your pages are so that you get free traffic from Google et al, but you also want to try being creative too. Answer the question "why should people use your website (rather than Ebay)?" and put it in articles and YouTube videos - and make it FUNNY!
Get someone to sell something 'weird' on your site and then send out the press releases.
The thing is why should someone bother with your site when we can just go to Ebay? You really are going to have to work hard to promote your site and answer that question, I'm afraid. |

In my opinion, the best kind of home business is one where you don't have to invest any money. I wasted thousands of dollars buying into all kinds of home businesses including MLM and Internet franchises.
