Well, in a way you have just now when you posted this question. At least to Yahoo Answers public!
You can also put an ad in the paper and in local ad papers.
Word of mouth is one of the oldest and surest ways of advertisement! Get your customers to pass the word and maybe add a little incentive to them for spreading the word by giving them a discount on One order, or a free (small item) product for each new person they tell and who becomes a customer themselves. Business cards are an excellent suggestion! Ask local small private owned businesses if you can leave a book there with your website on it. I wish you luck and I think Avon has awesome products! I use to be an Avon Representative myself and so did my Mom, and 2 of my sister-in-laws! |

1) Post an ad for free on Craigslist
2) Create a myspace account and invite people to visit your site
3) Simply attend networking events, fairs, luncheons and collect business cards to develop an email list. |

You can make business cards, add your website to your email signature, you may speak with your local yellow pages about listing you on their directory (may require fee.) Just please be sure not to "advertise" on places that will not permit it, like public forums, as they may see that as spam.
Oh, if you do web forums, like Thriftyfun.com or similar, you could add it as a tagline on your name, so people can follow the link. Some places have a space for "your website" and that would be a good place to add it on profiles. Also, if you buy a domain name, you could put that as a bumpersticker on your car. |
