How can improve the traffic to my website with social networking ?

I have a site and I did the onpage and offpage SEO. But I don't know Social Networking. Please help me to improve traffic to my web site.

Alright, since no one else is even in the ballpark to answering your question i will fill you in.

Social Networking is probably the term your saying when you mean to say Social Media Marketing.

Using sites like Digg.com, Reddit, and StumbleUpon, that utilize a voting system to raise or lower the visibility of submitted articles in their systems, to get a high volume of traffic and links.

You can make an account at any of these sites and jump right in.

There is no easy answer to getting into social media. It takes a lot of time. You need to treat it like entering into a real life social group and trying to make friends with the big players so they will help you succeed.

There are different techniques on getting traffic in a social bookmarking site, you can either:

- Upload each page of your site.
- Invite friends and add them in your network.
- If the social bookmarking site has a description when you submit your site, create a description that may grab their attention and make them come back to your website from time to time.
- Exchange bookmarks with other members.

Get an account at some of these social networks.
Use your website as your Sig.
Make an interesting Video to promote your site and put it on your page.
Write some articles and brand them by inserting links to your site and put these articles on your page.

Contribute regularly to your pages and other members pages on the networking site to establish a presence (recognition).
This could be as simple as signing a guest book.

Social networking is meeting people on a social network site like MySpace or Facebook for instance (and there are many more -just do a search on google for "social bookmarking" or "social network sites"), and build connections with them.

They are free to join and you will make friends quickly.

You will increase your traffic simply by visiting other sites that are in these networks. They will see that you have dropped by and will usually return the favor and visit you. It is also a great way to find sites that you wouldn't otherwise know about.
