How can we get more blog & website traffic ?

Can you start by giving information about your site and a link. It would help so you can get accurate suggestions. There are systems that will help you to get real traffic to your website that is targeted. I use a system that is available through a web host with an Alexa.com rating of 901. Here are some ways you can promote your blog

1. Create great content вЂ“ everything starts with great content. Think 'Linkbait" -- or writing about stuff that would be so great that people will want to link to you. 10. Submit articles with your blog posts. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Can you also make a video with pictures that are appropriate and your music playing? Post them on the big sites like Google Video and YouTube and make sure you have links on your page that point back to your site AND imbed your website and contact details in the vid, in case someone downloads it.

It would be very helpful if you either post your site here or provide some additional information about your product / service or the intent of your site as some methods are better than other depending on the intended audience.

However, as previously mentioned, ensure your site is validated, and assuming you do not want to utilize PPC, ensure your blog entries and each page of your site is keyword optimized. You can do your own keyword research and methods to optimize for your chosen keywords or hire a search engine optimzation company (such as mine). There is a lot of information on the web on how to optimize.

Also, ensure that you have PLENTY of high quality inbound links to your site.

This are just two, albeit extremely important, method to increase site traffic.
