How come the hands of a watch are always on the 10 and the 2 in ads?
it's just a time that the company decided on that looks average, and doesn't send any bad subliminal messages. It looks good. it can't be on any right angles and it can't be going downward because that would be a negative thing. I remember asking this when I worked somewhere I had to have every clock in the store on 10:10 as well or I would get points off on a mystery shop. Lucky most manufacturers actually start them there now.
