Two suggestions: www.freecycle.org; this is a great online community where you can both post things you are giving away, as well as post things you are looking for.
Or www.craigslist.com. You should have no problem using either. Hope this helps!

Have you tried "Freecycle"? There are local groups found online under freecycle that members post various items to give away or are wanted.
If the item would be useful to a church or other not for profit group, you may wish to check with some local organizations.
