How do I best start if i have an invention and want to bring it into production?
how do most "independents" get started, who do they talk to, what can i expect in terms of a time line to production and how much will it cost, is there anyone out there i can talk to who has been through it (successfully)?
I don't know. But Get a "patent pending" on it. So that way no one steals your idea.

First find the financer for the production than manage your work with different departments and than go for publicity of the product.

First, send me an exact copy of blueprints or schematics and a detailed description on how it works and what it does...then i'll get back to you. I'm just messin'..yea try and get it patented first then try and sell it to a company.

If you are serious, go to your township or city and get U.S. Patent information. Also, good luck my friend!!!

Have your invention patented first or copyright for your protection. Join some fair to show it does work. Thats a good starting point.
