With a lot of hard work, advertising, word of mouth, and a commitment to live up to an ideal your company sets for itself.
Ask yourself, Management, and co workers.
What does the company do?
What does the company stand for?
What are their policies as to Youth, Equal rights, Wage equity.
How do they fare in customer satisfaction polls?
Is your product or service geared to the Youth market, Seniors, General population? Is it fun or serious?
Your market (customers) should reflect the image of the product and company.
A company's image would be like clowny's burger joint, they create and live up to an image of community giving to help children. It's can work immensely well.
The Image says,"This is who we are, and this is what we stand for". A bad image can also drive people away. Look at Exxon after the Valdes oil spill. A bad image or one out of touch with your clientele, can ruin a business.
Consult the "Boss" if there is one before implimenting anything, as they may disagree with your vision of their company.
This is just a start. There is alot of factors involved to do well in the marketing field.
Reading a few books about marketing strategies, and getting customer survey reports to evaluate would be also a good source of info. I hope this helps you get started. It's tricky, but if you do your homework, you'll get a great Image that fits. |

Creating an image starts with what a company's mission statement is. What does this company stand for? Exceptional customer service? Top quality products? The 'Brand personality' is really what the 'create an image' is looking to answer.
Look at the brand personality of Google for example or for such luxury goods products as BMW. Start with this, them from there - you would need to consider all aspects of marketing to help perpetuate this image. Logo style, packaging, product design, collateral material, etc.
For PR specifically, you could pick a corporate spokesperson that matches that 'brand personality'. Then do your typical PR tactics reaching the desired target audience. You could also do a publicity stunt and cooresponding campaign that does a nice tie-in to the company. Good old fashioned media relations will go very far with articles placements that further your image. Media kit development, etc.

What is the company--what does it make or what does it offer the customer? What age bracket do you hope to capture. Is the business a vanity based product line? Are you just for the hip, beautiful people? Demographics is your base line of who you are trying to reach. Kids, teens young adults, older people? Logos and color schemes are psycologically planned---use the wrong colors or the wrong music or have inappropriate advertising, will affect your image. Personally you want everyone working at your place to be the type of people YOU would want to do business with. Let's say you make wetsuits for watersports and you want to sell them to waterskiers and jetskiers. Hot colors, hot models, quality propducts with a warranty that is better than anyone elses. Put all of that to use -----Be at every race event, be outgoing and friendly. Throw some freebies out to people that can offer testimony about the quality of your product. You need to be priced competitively, have the capability to make you products in a timely fashion, cool catalogues, and get a marketing scheme in place---then go after the customer with vigor. No matter what---have integrity----always swallow your pride---make good for boo-boos---mean what you say----stay the course, it takes a long time but it's worth it. Good luck and remember it is all in the reputation a company nurtures over time. |

Think you really need to sit down and plan ahead.
with specific goals and timeline along the way to help you achieve that.
I can't tell you how to do as you will know best.
for one though, never compromise with ur standards that you are creating of your image, for it will lower the image and it will be a failure.
SO plan well, know what you want and work on it. |
