It depends what type of business it is. What age groups like the products you sell? I would create a nifty poster on the computer (using photoshop is the best and most appealing, but if you don't something else will work...) and stick it up where that age group will see it. If you have the money, I would advertise on radio/tv especially at times when that age group is probably viewing/listening. Google have a lot of ads around different websites, so I would look into that as well. Good luck with your business! |

As most have stated it depends on what your business is. Do tell.....
Business cards, flyers....pass them out every chance you get. put them on bulliten boards, etc. like the ones in grocery stores and restaurants, schools...depending on business. If you offer items for sale give out a free sample. Post on free sites, add info to signature on all your outgoing emails. Word of mouth, always talk about your business whenever you can.
Door hangers
What ever you do .....DO NOT put anything in anyones mailbox......This is illegal and you can and will get in trouble for it, also think twice before you put things on car windshields. Some people will just throw them on the ground and you can get into trouble for littering. |

it depends on what kind of business you are in, but a good place to start is letting everyone you know and meet about your new business, and ask them if they are ever in the need of what you have to offer to think of you first. Then you advirtise locally, and try to focus on people that are in need of what you offer, to make your advertising more effective |
