I have recently started a website www.snaplyts.com (there are alot of websites that offer myspace layouts and such, so I tried to add extra stuff like a chat line and forum but I still need help trying to get traffic to my site). Anyone who is knowledgeable in this area and could offer a few suggestions, that would be wonderful. I would also like input about my site. I haven't completely got all my layouts up. On your Home Page you use the word 'Sorry' twice. Don't. This is negative. Be positive, say something like,
We are in the process of uploading loads of new pages to our site, and would like to hear from you with your suggestions. Let's get our heads together!
Be inviting, try and draw people in.
Also, you have listed pages on your menu which only produce the 404 not found message, which will make people leave your site and not likely to return.
Therefore, don't make promises you cannot fulfill.
Secondly, pink might be off-putting for fellas. Think about it.
