Ir is like running any other shop. Source good products and sell them for a reasonable enough price. Don't bother about earning first till you build volumes and have created good enough customer base. Once you have built volume, you can buy better. (This is where your margins will come from.) There are no short cuts to building reputation. You have to earn it. |

You can sell your unwanted but with potential value items on ebay to earn cash.
Alternative, you could buy cheap stuff at flea market or jumbo sales and sell on ebay.
Professionally you could get discounted items from drop-shippers and mark-up to sell on ebay. You will earn your mark-up portion of the price.
Beware of false direct drop-shippers. Most of them are resellers.

example: carpet costs 100$ to make and to deliver, they sell it to you for $9.99 on ebay + they charge you $150 for the delivery. Voila, 60$ profit. The same for electronics - gadgets are bought from warehouses on bulk for fraction of the price (like $20 for camera that costs $100 in the store) and sold to you for 20 + shipping costs.
Another way is to sell unwanted items on consignment from your neighbors or to keep an eye for expensive items sold on low prices because the owner has been pressed to find cash fast.
and so on.

This may not be the answer you want to hear bit it is the TRUTH. You're not going to make a small fortune on ebay or even a teeny tiny fortune for that matter.
Once upon a time people could position themselves to make a good monthly income using ebay to sell items in certain niche markets. Ebay has changed so many things that it has now turned into an online flee market for lesser quality products.
You will find your profits get eaten up by "hidden" fees while you still deal with all the business headaches like packing, shipping, negative feedback, hours spent listing, and on & on.
Ebay does have two excellent benefits for online sellers. Using ebay correctly you can determine price points for an item and demand. A "secret" bonus would be sending customers to your primary website through the " About Me Page."
Some of the folks making "Good Money" on Ebay are selling.... "How To Make Money on Ebay" products.

Ebay favours buyers. I used to sell on Ebay but in so many cases Ebay favoured buyer in spite of buyer's wrong complaints and ultimately I started my own website, have been using SEO company for good search engine ranking. In a long run, own web store is good. |
