There's a book called 'Discover The Truth: The Hidden Secrets Of The Ancient Scrolls". Up to now, the people who have read it have said "its amazing!" or "your a genious!"
Now, the content in it is very surprising and shocking and once a person picks it up its hard to put down. However, its self-publicised and there is a market out there for it, but there is no cost-effective way of spreading the message.
Any ideas? |

May I know whether the book is actually your creation?
If it is your creation then I would like to congratulate you for your beautiful mind.
There are several things that you have done:
1. Please determine your target market. Ask yourself what your book is concentrating on? Who will read your book? What age? etc. By determining your target market, it would be easier for you to publicize the book. By doing this you would not put your advertisement to the wrong market. For instance, if your book is concentrating on history you would not want to advertise your book in the automotive media, wouldn’t you?
2. Create an abstract of the book to be submitted to the print media. Leave your contact details in the article.
3. Contact the independent publishers. I am sure they are more than happy to accept and publicize the amazing book.
4. Create an article to be submitted to the print media with the topic closely connected to the book concentration. Leave your website address in that article.
5. Find the book lover forums or the book clubs. Please encourage discussion based on your book. Do this more than once. Persistence is the key in marketing.
6. Do not be afraid to create your own website to share a little sneak-peak in order to stimulate reader’s interest.
7. Just do it!!!
I wish you good luck with your new marketing tactic. I would like to hear about the outcome.

you've already marketed it badly by your bad spelling "your a genious" how many grammatical mistakes is that!!!
But seriously, if it's any good, you should try selling it on e-book options. Independent publishers usually know their stuff - if they willing to take a risk with you, then that speaks for itself. You should send it to popular DJs and celebs who may be interested in the cause you are writing about. High risk of plaguarism if you release it to too many people without establishing author rights to it first.

I want to share something most people miss, because it's critical. Success starts with your mindset. A lot of what you see on the internet are "get rich quick" programs. They don't work for most people. That's not to say, you can't make money in a hurry on the Internet. You can. But it all starts with having a superior mindset... or way of thinking.
Let's face it. This doesn't come easy for most people.
Reality is... the best solution is taking action.
I'm telling you this because despite what some of the "gurus" say, buying the latest and greatest internet info product won't make you wealthy on its own.
To leap off the ebook merry-go-round...
People have to supply the action!
And guess what. Action is a lot easier to take when you're not hamstrung by technology.
I was struggling so much in technology that I culd not focus on the important stuff which is to make money. Now I have a company to handle all that stuff for me while I make more and more money.. |

Maybe you should contact several magazines or newspapers and ask to write an article that summeries your book, and then reference it in the article or in the bylines.
Contact television or radio programme, send them a copy of the book or a press release. Detail your contact info and your willingness to appear on the show to discuss it.
Ask universities if you can do a reading and field questions on campus. You can do this through relevant departments, theology, history or literature are options or any campus group related to the subject of your book.
Talk to local book store owners, you may want to start small and do an instore reading.
