Cntents:
your content should be clean and easy to understand, insert images if required. If you took data from any other source change the wording from the original source.

Design:
most bloggers offer to use html in their blog. First make an test html file for your blog. apply table and divs . if suitable then copy the your content with html and paist in the edit box.

You can get decent traffic on your blog by promoting it and having good links with the same niche as your blog..and as much as possible get or exchange links from sites/blogs that are relevant to your blog..and have a good content for you visitors in order for them to revisit and might put your link on their blog.. |

I have six great tips for Search Engine Optimization for you....
1) Write great, unique content
2) Try to post regularly (this could be 2-3 times a day, it could be 2-3 times a week)
3) create relationships with like minded bloggers. creating relationships with bloggers (either online or offline is one way to generate links to your content--which is what maximizes your SEO)
4) Target the Longtail of Search. be strategic about your title tags. Spend about 5 minutes learning about the "long tail" as it relates to SEO. This involves targeting longer search phrases based on your offerings and services. This allows you to dominate your search niche. Without looking to the long tail, you are pretty much dead in the water, because there will always be sites like eBay and Amazon....and sites in your larger area of business (real estate, marketing, whatever) that have the advantage. building credibility, authority, and link love in a niche is absolutely crucial to your SEO campaign success.
7) One way to target the longtail is to geo-target your locale
6) consider creating a hybrid campaign with pay per click advertising to create immediate traffic. Search engine optimization is great, but its a more long term strategy. It may be 2-3 months to see big results you are looking for.

You can search the Internet as much as you want and spend countless days looking for the answer. All you will find is about how to make your website more SEO friendly and techniques to get better rankings in pages - subscribe your website to directories, spam on blogs/forums, use viral emailing, link exchange (i listed only some of the techniques that don't necessary require you to pay money).
But I know that you meant more like "How can I attract traffic now?" not "How can people find me in Google if they search for [your keyword] in two years time".
