Add UNRELATED keywords to your site and your site will be banned by the search engines for keyword stuffing. What you heard is SEO circa 1999 -- that was true then, but not anymore
And guess what? Google doesn't even consider metatag keywords anymore because of web site owners like you who try to spam their search engines by stuffing unrelated keywords.
Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement - if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

Adding unrelated terms into your keyword meta tags won't get you anywhere, and your traffic will decrease because people will look at you as a spammer.
