If this is a new website, you may have to wait about 2 or more weeks to get indexed. To speed up the process, you should get some big name websites to link to you. Those websites are crawled more often and will thus crawl yours as well. If you have already submitted to Google and Yahoo, do not repeatedly do so. It is enough to submit once, then sit back and relax.
It is completely normal that you are not yet showing up. No need to worry at all.
I don't know why other people here are making it seem like its some really hard process. It's not. If you have already submitted to Google/Yahoo/Live then you're good to go as far as getting indexed. If you want to show up for some more difficult keywords besides your domain name, then you will want to get some relevant links to your website. However, this is not mandatory to getting indexed, only to ranking well. |

one you need to sort out your site map its holding you back more than you think,
build a blog on your site and write some articles on the subjects your selling,
go to rss submitter web sites and submit your rss feeds this will create some back links for you maybe when the blog is set up look for popular plug-ins .

if its not even appearing when you put things that are totally precise to your website, its because the google bots haven't found it yet.
search engines have 'bots' that basically scour the web for new web addresses, and then add them to the list of all the billions of websites they know about.
I dont know how search engine results are prioritised, i guess firstly by the name of the site, and its contents, and then by how popular it is, and possibly how much advertising there is on it. |

Ok - your site looks good to humans - but is boring and irrelevant to bots.
have a look at your page descriptions and keywords - they are irrelevant for each page.
It looks like the site has been built by a shopping cart firm and not a programmer.
as others have said it can and does take time - but you have to work on the on site SEO work first - unique content, relevant key words - for example if you look at a particular team page there is little use of the keywords of the club name, the stadium or the players names - what are you expecting people to put in a search engine to find you.
You really are at the start of the job here.
If I were you I would write a page of text for humans to read describing each club, the name of the stadium, player names etc and then get a programmer to integrate this with each page.

You have to make sure that you site is optimized so that the search engines find it favorable. You also need to know which keywords you want your website to come up for and target your website around those. but this still doesn't mean that your site will pop up on the first page. In my opinion those sites that say they will submit your site to a gizzilion search engines are fill of crap. To drive traffice to your site you need to start link building and posting ads.

I am no SEO expert but I hope my experience on search engines will help:
1. setup a site ( you have it so can ignore)
2. Choose a keyword for your site (choose less competitive keywords - tool: type "adwords" and look for keyword tool on third result on google)
3. Fill you site with UNIQUE contents related to your site / theme of your site. ( if it's about weight-loss you don't want to put up articles on football!)
4. Create minimum of 6 sub-pages
5. Optimize these pages with different less competitive keywords
(the idea is - to direct visitors to your site when people search these terms on the search engines)
6. Submit your site to directories.
Four not to miss: Dmoz, yahoo, google, live
7. Create a blog on http://www.blogger.com or http://www.wordpress.com
8. Link this blog to your site
9. Comment on other people's blogs that has "do-follow"
(Do follow are blogs that allows you to leave your link on their blog - type "do-follow blogs" on http://www.google.com )
10. Write articles related to your site theme and submit them to article directories
11. Create anchor text of your keywords on author's profile colum( code: <a href="http://www.YOURSITE.com">YOUR KEYWORD</a> )

12. Create a profile on social networking sites (e.g. mine: http://www.twitter.com/LianVaiphei , http://www.onlywire.com )
