Besides the <title> metatag "index," where are the SEO metatags and the <title> entry itself needs major revision. Here's an article which should prove helpful to you at this time.
The most effective way to advertise on the Internet is
to first set up a website and publish its domain name
on major search directories such as Google.com,
Yahoo.com [at http://www.google.com/addurl/?...... and
MSN.com since 85% of Internet shoppers rely on these
search directories to provide them with goods and
services. In a sense, these search directories are a
very large Internet Yellow Pages.
Nevertheless, should your website or opening webpage
fail to contain "generic" keywords, then anyone using
such "generic" queries will not be able to discover
your website. Your domain name [URL] of your website,
in a sense, will be invisible, undiscoverable.
You may want to consider some simple algorithms which,
when observed and committed in designing of a website
with placement of various critical metatags that can
surely achieve a high search engine presence and
increase Internet traffic to your website. These
metatag strategies work well with published webpages
at Google and Yahoo.
Design: Should you create an extensive Flash-based
website, make sure to fill-in the property entries
such as the Title, Description and Keywords. Failing
to do so, leaves no hard HTML or ALT resource that can
be readily indexed by search robots. Also consider the
Internet audience and their incoming setup. For
example, if they are on analog/dialup, Flash webpages
take too long to load up and therefore analog users
will likely lose interest and discontinue entering the
Flash site. On the other hand, anyone on hi-speed DSL
lines, will welcome Flash pages which load quickly. So
before designing a pure Flash websitge, ask the simple
question, "Who's my end user - is he on dialup or
DSL?" And if you had to choose between these two users
for maximum marketability, then select analog users
since 80% of most resident users are still analog
Internet subscribers and pure HTML designed webpages
is best for them.
A non-Flash-based website which relies on hard text,
is far easier to be indexed by search robots. Limit
the use of stylized text saved as .gifs since as a
graphic, they are not indexable by search robots.
Avoid use of frames since any number of search robots
are unable to properly classify textual material.
Placement of Metatags:
A ranking or search order does take place with Google
and Yahoo and it begins with the "Title" metag which
should consist of no more than 60 characters separated
by commas. The "Title" should describe in generic terms, the goods and services, followed by a location from which the resource is located, i.e., city, state. The placement of a domain name which is not generic within the "Title" is not appropriate, unless your
domain name is a major recognizable brand name.
The second metatag is the "Description" which is
usually up to 41 words to form a complete paragraph which
best describes one's goods and services. It is not merely a list.
And the very last category - "Keywords" are also
somewhat limited to 15 words which can be plural
and compound in nature. Again, avoid multiple entries
which could be mistaken as "spamdexed entries" which
is defined as the loading, and submission of
repetitive words into a particular metatag category.
"Spamdexing" when discovered on a webpage and reported
to Google's spamreport.com can result in the
elimination of your website from their search
directory.
Here's an example of a very highly-placed website on
Google.com: Begin with the very "generic" search query
"sandwiches downtown los angeles," taking note to not
abbreviate Los Angeles to "LA" and of course, leave
out the parentheses ("). It will bring up some 2.4
million+ search results. Check out where "Nazos.net"
is ranked. It's on the SECOND FRONT [ranked 15]!
Again, Nazos.net's high web presence was achieved by
proper web design and placement of relevant metatags
according to Google's publication guidelines.
Good luck! |

In most cases companies will charge a fee to optimize your website for the search engines. This makes your website more appealing to the searches and also gives your better ranking.
I know of another product call SEO Godfather. It does the same thing without the cost of hiring an outside company.

It’s rarely an instant return on the Internet. You need your site coming up relevant to what people "search for" on the Internet. It takes time to get placement in the right places within the Internet and if you're listed in the right category of searches you stand a better chance of returns. The following is one of the better ways.
For a small charge you can have a “Permanent” website advertisement placed in an index such as this in a choice of around 750 categories to target your business trade.
This will raise your website profile and increase its chances of extra sales because this site is indexed by the search engines placing your site within public searches.
The advantage of a site like this is that you don’t have to update your listing again.

Hi,
I also have an online business and I am always looking for low cost methods to advertise. There is always PPC, but that can be very costly, but you will get fast, targeted traffic.
In addition to some of the replies above, if you are looking to get quick response and are on a budget, you can try the following:
You should also place fr*ee classified ads at Direct Matches and head over to Adland Pros, which is similar to Direct Matches.
You will find various categories where you can place your classified ads...just pick the ones that are the most suitable.
These are excellent online communities that are fr*ee to join and you can advertise your business or opportunity and get it in front of many eyes.
They also have a very good traffic exchange that you should join. Just read the instructions to join the traffic exchange.
This is another fr*ee method to increase traffic to your site.
The best traffic exchange is Traffic Swarm. ....traffic exchanges are very good to get your ads in front of many eyes. Just participate in the fr*ee exchanges. It is based on surfing the net and viewing other participating advertisers and you receive credits. The more credits you have, the more your ad is shown to the traffic exchange members.
Go to forums, including the ones at Direct matches and Adland Pro. Post to forums...do not do blatant advertising or you will get banned. Set up a signature file and put you website there. Some forums have specific areas for fr*ee ads...use those, too.
You should place classified ads at sites, such as www.Craigslist.com and www.backpage.com These are fr*ee to place ads. You can target a local market. Just make sure that you change the ads a bit if you are going to place more than one for different locations.
Good luck and let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
The URL's to join the various sites can be found below in the source box.
Regards, Marc |

Hi,
I went over and had a look at your site. I can tell you exactly why you are not getting much traffic and I don't think you will get very much more useful traffic even if you spend a fortune on advertising.
The question is, do you want me to tell you the answer? I mean it's not smart to tangle with a black belt, is it?
What the heck - you seem like a nice person so i'll do what I can to point you in the right direction.
First things first: When I went to your site I saw only a few words "above the fold" - that is at the top part of the page where I don't have to scroll down.
I can click on that nice big red image - and it just refreshes the same page. Result? I am disappointed because I can't see more information about Taekwondo.
OR I can click on the almost invisible "home" button - and it refreshes the same page. Result? I am disappointed because I can't see more information about Taekwondo.
OR I can click on the guest book where I can view a few entries that don't make much sense to me because they are in a list going backwards. Result? I am disappointed because I can't see more information about Taekwondo.
OR I can sign up for something that has just disappointed me three times in a row.
If I scroll down, there is a very distracting gif animation that takes my attention away from what might be on the page.
OR a webpoll asking me to rate something that has just been one long series of disappointments so far.
AND a visitor counter showing a low number of visitors. Never use one of these until you are showing off about how many visitors you get!
NEXT I see a total of three FAQs and I think nobody is asking for this person's advice!
THEN I go to an empty chatroom.
I did ASK whether you wanted to hear it.
What can you do about it?
1. Get some information onto the site. Make it clear that you are an expert in Taekwondo. Give people a reason to come to your site.
2. Get rid of the features that make it clear that things are not moving too well - the statcounter and the chatroom have to go unless you want people to get even more fed up with you! Bring them back when you have about 20 or 30 pages of good content up there.
3. Get a good navigation system that lets people find what you are offering quickly and easily.
4. Get your best information above the fold.
That might just help you to get started. What I really recommend is a few days of decent mental exercise that will inform you about how to go about building a successful site that really works.
You could start over here:
http://www.internet-business-detective.com/build-successful-website.html
Then check out this page too:
http://www.internet-business-detective.com/why-build-a-website.html
Once you've had a bit of a look round to see what is needed to build a site that works for your visitors, you might want to make some changes in the way you approach the whole subject.
If you still think advertising is the way to go, why not drop me an email and I'll help you along a bit.
Just don't go spending a load of money till you have a great site to advertise.
I really wish you luck with this. Taekwondo is an ancient and noble art and there is loads of potential for you to make an effective and noble site to match it.
