The first step is to have a website that will bring in traffic. I agree that the easiest way may be a blog, and it's also free. Then you could talk about things that interest you, and have ads that pertain to your topic of interest.
If you plan to just start a website to put ads on, you may have trouble getting visitors to come to your site, and therefore not enough people to actually click on the ads.
Also, google ads are a bit different from affiliate marketing. If you want to promote products as an affiliate, you can focus your website around that, and link to actual products... which are more interesting than just ads. A couple of affiliate sites are Commission Junction & Performics. I actually have accounts with each of them, and my CJ checks are pretty good each month.
Most important is to have something on your site that makes people want to visit it. That's why it's a good idea to stick with something that you enjoy. |

Depending on your knowledge of web design and seo I would try to find a good template to get started or else start a blog on wordpress. Blogs are much easier to set up and get traffic too.

Firstly, you will need to decide the subject you want to talk about in order to create your site.
You could start with a blog such as blogger; which is free... but once you have a lot of visitors and they keep coming back again and again you probably will want to have your own domain name and web hosting so, if you want to earn money quick... I'd recommend to buy a domain name and web host.

Interesting... you can make one blog. But if at all you need a website which will have lot of features compared to blog you need to be web designer. If you are not, outsource it to a service provider on freelance site whaere you will get that at very cost effective prices. |
