There a re quite a few different things that you could do to find out whether or not you site has been indexed by a number of different search engines.
The easiest way to find out is to search for the exact URL not just a Key Word like "candles"
As an example searching google for
"www.candlesbyalexandria.com" will show us if your site has been indexed by the Google bot. That is the google web robot that crawls around the internet and sorts out what is what.......

Good news is you are indexed but after taking a quick look at your site i think you mentioned the word candle once.
You need to improve a number of things starting with your key words density. That is the number of times that you mention candles etc.
Think about how a consumer or buyer is going to look for you products.
There re a few basic things that you can do to improve your search engine results page position (SERPP) but you need to do a google on SEO first.

You better start submitting your website not only to Google but to other search engines if you want your site to appear to their list. Also, you may want to submit your link to other business directory sites.

We help small and medium sized companies gain traffic on their sites from search engines. I will be honest and tell you Google is the hardest to get indexed on if you are small or just starting out. Google has some of the most complex and changing indexing rules. We spend a lot of time just trying to stay on top of what changes they make each quarter.
We have most of our clients start with Pay-Per-Click advertising (which we manage for them also). This is the fastest way to drive traffic to a site, and if you know how to calculate ROI you can then focus on phrases which you can afford and still have some profit in the end.
After PPC, we identify key phrases and begin making changes to the site to increase the relevancy and density scores on the top three search engines. As a minimum you should plan 10 - 40 hours a month (depending on your proficiency) for keeping your site fresh and always improving the key items that search engines find important so that your site and it's pages continue to be ranked higher and higher each month.
There is lots of software out there to help, lots of newsletters to subscribe to and learn about search engine marketing, and lots of companies like mine willing to help you out.
