I do many things to get traffic to my website. I blog, visit forums, etc. I am also using some programs that are free. If you would like to see them click on the link below. They have been very helpful to me.

Wow, you've gotten a lot of good to great answers here. However, I'd just like to add my little two cents worth to them and hope that it helps you out as much as it has with me.

I recently came across a site at http://tmdassc.qassia.com that not only guarantees you free traffic to your site, but also backlinks.

The only thing you have to do is give them a paragraph or two of intel, or information which someone may find to be helpful. It could be anything from how to make a great cup of coffee, to how to trim your dog's toenails.

For each piece of intel you give them, you get a backlink to your site and some free traffic. You can also boost your site ranking by screening intel that others have written.

You're not limited to how much traffic and backlinks you can accumulate daily. I see a lot of the big name Gurus are in it, but they haven't been telling anyone about it. Seems like the big name gurus are trying to keep this to themselves until they figure out how to create an ebook to sell you the same information I've provided to you at no cost here.
