Well, it depends on how you plan to market your site. There is basically two ways you can advertise your site.
1. Free Traffic Generation and
2. Paid Traffic
For free traffic:
If you want to focus on generating free traffic, then you must use SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Let me be little specific....
There are two approaches to SEO. On-page and off-page
for On-page:
If you have a site try and optimize it with your site concept keywords. Include it in the title, and description tags. for your keyword meta tag between 3-5 keywords max.

Off-Page is about getting high quality inbound links to your site and web 2.0 - writing reviews related to your product or services on Squidoo and hubpages with links to your site.
You can also write articles and submit them to article directories. And, of course, press release as well.

The key to getting traffic to your site is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
When I started in Internet Marketing I asked the same question over and over only to find that the answer never helped. So many times I was told what to do, but was not effectively trained how to do it. Unless you already have all the tools, software, training and support you need to be successful, knowing what to do won't help.
You can go to lots of websites and end up paying 1000's of dollars to get all the tools, software, training and support you need to be an effective Internet Marketer. I suggest you look into joining a reputable Internet Membership Training Program. They cost next to nothing and everything is included with your membership. It will take some effort to become successful, but if you have a great product that people would love if only they knew about it, then you will have a very profitable business. |
