Actually branding does not increase the demand but it is a form of identification for your product. The demand factor is the quality of your product but how would they know if it is a specific product and thats where branding comes in. Actually branding is a Chanel for the product to meet the demand and the quality is the catalyst of the demand. |

Branding is simple, people pay for a name, they like to be sure what they are getting is worth the money. Some people will buy something because it has nike or whatever on it rather than plain clothes. I guess it shows somweones status and how they like to buy the best. The more expensive brands are usually more trusted e.g buying asdas extra special over getting smart price. |

Well if you saw the same product one packed in a plain stiff brown paper bag with very little in the way of branding and writing whilst the other was contained in bright a maliable packaging which had it's brand name in bold clear writing along with a catchy phrase.
