Websites can make money thru becoming an affiliate or obtaining referrals. Ads can bring an income in but there must be a large traffic flow. Find your niche and work on obtaining a good traffic flow. No one gets rich quick it is sometimes a slow tedious process.

You can make money with displaying adds on your website
or using affiliate programs ..
but I recommend with the first one ... use Google Adsense it pays you very good .. for clicking on the ads on your website ... no need for your visitors to purchase anything ... !
