don't worry it takes about one month. the best thing to do is ask questions it you do not know what to do.as for fitting in just find one person that you are comfortable with and talk to them about what is going on and in no time you will be getting along just fine with everyone, number one rule stay away from work drama..ie gossip |

Give yourself about three months to really get comfortable with the new job. In the meantime ask questions of the old timers. They can be helpful if you listen to them carefully. Show respect to everyone and don't gossip. Work very hard, and hopefuuly you will get raises regularly. |

i think that your application speaks for itself about your inexperience, and chances are they have had to train newbies before, but i think about a month or so, and you ought to fit right in.... |

Hi, Usually takes no more than seven days depending on the job. Just relax and all will go smoothly. Good luck and have fun in your new job. |

I think in general it takes about 6 months to feel you understand the industry you're working in and get used to work with others in a way that affects a business.
I don't think it's a good idea to look at yourself as someone with no experience but someone willing to learn from the best and observe those who you respect.
My first job was babysitting when I was 13. Initially, I was very uncomfortable but as time passed I got used to kids and as I got more confident I participated in games the kids were playing. Don't be afraid to take (mental) notes from what is the quickest, most effective way to get the job done. E.g. On downtime, when there are a few customers maybe that's the best time to understand the pizzamaking process etc. |

Every (?) boss knows that a ("newbie") new-hire doesn't hit the ground running. If he is a a good boss he will give you good instructions, overlooks your simple errors, and has a helpful, friendly attitude. Believe it or not, he was once a "newbie" himself and depends on his employees to make him more succesful.
Fear not, and take every opportunity to learn how to be a superior employee. Willingness to learn is very important in any boss' mind. |

First off, relax. It's normal to be nervous but you will get it. It might help to take notes. I find that when I write stuff down I retain it much better. Don't be afraid to ask questions. That is the best way to learn. |

It depends on the following points:-
(1) if there is a change of job function, culture
(2) your adapbility in new environment
pizza place...u'll b ok in 2 weeks times, if ur job function is quite routine. My advice- observation is the key, better than asking ur coworkers esp they r a lot of customers. Alwiz offer ur help to ur coworker when u r done with ur duty or when ur coworker is bz, show ur desire to learn more. This i believe will enable help u a lot. |

It will depend on how much of yourself you're willing to "put out there", so to speak. You need to be outgoing, friendly, and helpful. Your first few months on a new job need to be about learning. Learning the job, learning about your co-workers, and learning what is expected of you. Be open to new things. Don't try to change things until you've been there a while. Invite one of your co-workers out to lunch. Making friends with one can open the door for you. Hope this helps! |
