The creation of the website is the easy part. Determining what you need the site do is where you should be spending your time.
Once the website is created, then what? It will quickly grow stale and uninteresting unless you arrange for periodic updates.
Unless you are willing to spend time with your website yourself, you should be looking at a maintenance service, not just a designer.
