research your enviroment, research the type of people in that enviroment, research strategies, research popularity of the sale. Keep customer informative

Honesty is the first thing. The customer will eventually find out your weren't truthful about what you sold them and then there goes your comeback customer. Second is that you believe in the product your selling. It is very difficult to something you don't think is quality or worth the price. The last is multiples and add-ons. Depending on what your selling always show the customer lots of options and accessories that go with it. Don't sell them, let them sell themselves. Show them to the customer like your giving them options. Answer their questions if they ask, but don't oversell them. They will see this all as good customer service.
Oh, a don't forget to thank them and always be attentive. |
