Such as, if users post X number of posts in Y number of days, they'll go into a drawing for prize Z. It works, but you need to make sure it's something people actually want. |

Right now is not the time for widespread promotion of your forum. You gotta get some posts on there or people will come and go real quick.
Make some posts yourself - have friends, business associates join and post. Right now it looks like a vast wasteland.
Assuming that you are a member of other related forums you might want to invite a few members of those other forums to help get things started.
Once you have some content that might encourage a new visitor to join and start posting then you should start promoting. |
