I 've tried SEO actually paid someone to do it for me. I place ads on a few classified adsites, Link referral, myspace, and directories. I also tried Google adwords for awhile, but was spending to much, even though my budget was low. I would love to start google adwords again but money is kind of tight right now. So my question is what else can i do to get more visitors.

First - Good luck picking through some of the "silly" advice you're being given. Your site is not to bad there young lady, as for the SEO company that did the work for you, they were O.K., not great, but then again I have no idea what you paid them ? Maybe you did get your money's worth ?
The use of Google Adwords is good but it is an art form you really need to know exactly what you're doing to have it pay off.
I would suggest you use a very powerful "FREE" form of advertising. Considering your niche this would work very well for getting tons of traffic. Make a short (2 minutes) video, think of it as an opportunity to make a commercial then place it on Youtube with both a link over to the right in the description area and (if you can) across the bottom of the video itself.
Twitter is another great social media service that, when done correctly, can generate a faithful following straight to your site.
Go create a blog on Wordpress with a short relative title and use that also to direct targeted traffic right to you.

Do social bookmarking using www.socialmarker.com. It will increase the traffic, try to build your network in the sites like digg.com, delicious etc. It will help you to promote on networking sites. And submit atleast 2 artilces in an week and 2 press releases in an month.

try more classified ( 20-30 ), post articles at least 20 in a month(initially,then u can reduce to 1/week), blogs help a lot,1-2 press release in a month.
This will take time but will go for long...i believe in organic seo |

If you want to increase the visitors to your website then seo is the best in the long run. Adwords can cost a lot of money and if your not making it back then you could be in trouble.
There are many places were you can try to learn seo or you can join a place like i did http://www.webmasterplace.org were they coach and help you a ton! |
