Try StumbleUpon at http://www.stumbleupon.com and add your site to your favorites.
You can try article marketing at an article submission service like http://www.ezinearticles.com and link back to your website in the resource box for your articles.
You can also comment on popular blogs like John Chow's or Joel Comm's that allow linkbacks to your URL. Do a Yahoo Search.
Create a video and upload it to YouTube with your URL flashed on the screen. All of these are free.

First of all do not advertise anything with adsense on traffic exchanges. I can guarantee your adsense account will be closed in no time at all.

Relevance and fresh content is the key. Its important to keep you blog or website updated in order to get the seo spiders coming to it. Making money with anything on the internet takes a commitment. If you think you are going to throw up a couple pages and watch the money roll in then you are deadly wrong.

Make sure your site is attractive by customizing the ads to your site. For instance, sites with white backgrounds should use ads with a gray background, as well as use colors in ads that already exist on the page.
Place ads on the best location on the page. One of the best locations is in line with your content.
Create a lot of content and add fresh unique content regularly. Sites with the most pages and content have more opportunities for ads and clicks. A site with 10 pages won't make nearly as much money as a site with 50 or 500 pages of relevant content.
Promote your Web site by emailing friends for word-of-mouth, and submit your site to all search engines so content will be indexed.
