Submitting your URL to Google does not do the job. Imagine how many websites are submitted to Google every day. Make Google finds your website, not the other way around.
To do this, you need to have quality content to your website, optimise your website to be search engine friendly. Submitting to directories could also help you, forums and blog are also great addition. Then try to have backlinks from sites with good page rank and have related niche with yours. |

there is two basic things you need to understand about search engine. first they index your site and its pages. second they rank your sites so they know which site to list on SERP (search engine result pages) when people do query or search. to index new site they also has to consider already existing sites. they index pages to get info on updated existing pages by sending their spider bot to those sites. this bot has only a few seconds to spend on each pages and can only do that 24 hour per day. since there are billions of pages on the net they could not manage to do all that in one single day. so established and good sites get priority. new site has to wait until the spider bot has time to go the there. since spider bot review established sites then it is a good a chance to get quickly index if you put your link on those sites. you can do by joining forum or make comments on blogs with high PR at least 5. actually there is a lot of things to talk about seo so if you need some reading material go to below resources and download free ebooks "the Plan". you could also go my to site and check out website building section. about that char set it doesn't have any effect on search engine. hope that helps a bit. |
