One thing to bear in mind about companies executives.
They are busy people, or even if other people who do their job, they think their time is above anyone else for waste.
Rule #1- Give a straightforward summary of the key points/ideas, with image sketches if you have . Your marketing pitch lies on this.
If you you are talking about mumbo jumbo, they will push your email aside , and just tell you the usual "We regret to turn down your offer.....after careful consideration we have considered someone else proposal..." Even if there was never some1 else!
Now, if your little pitch really hit the spot, they would be hungry for more, so you can further add to your email.
"Kindly find the details in the attached file of this email."
I would suggest you type a WORD document. I learn in Business school that business communication is important.
The Word document features will allow you to create chapters with hyperlink to lead the executive on the spot he's interested.
This will be efficient and time saving for him.
I'm not saying you need to write a book. You can even do this in a 6 page document.
Regarding WORD skills, ask a friend or someone to help you if are not very skillful.

Best way is the two same side approach. Use the same infomation/images in two different ways. Like first just have a neat running compilation of what you are trying to get across. so that they can look at it at there speed, the use the same information/images etc and put that in to a working presentation/show/idea ect, something that you control. say a slide show or movie or even a website with the ideas on it. Its the best way to show your idea, in theory then in really. |

You have to be careful about telling them your ideas over an email. You need to see their reactions. If you do not have a lot of creative ideas and you send them some but you have exhausted all that you know, they will take it and use it themselves and you are left with nothing.
I would send them an email that is divided in three parts.
1st you need to GRAB THEIR ATTENTION in the first statement.
The second statement should INCLUDE A VERY LITTLE TASTE without spilling the beans.The last statement should GET THEM TO ACT, ask for a meeting with them but make sure it sounds good.
If they give you a meeting - get some kind of guarntee that if they like what they here that they hire you. |

It sounds pretty risky to send your ideas thru email. I sent an idea called "Cool case" to a copmany that manufacturer boxes. the idea was to have a cooler made out the packaging for soda's and beers so you would not have to transfer the drink into another cooler or buy a seperate cooler that would be disposable. Low and behold the Coors company came out with my idea, be careful about who you contact with your idea. |
