I'm wanting to know how to obtain top ranking in various search engines i.e. google, msn, yahoo ect...

I've been able to obtain top ranking with several of my pages in the Houstonhotdeals domain. If you search for "after construction clean up," or, "Mega Ebook Collection," you'll find both pages ranked pretty high....usually out of more than 1 million searches......

Though I have a general idea of what it takes, I wanted to know if anyone knows a quick easy method to freely obtain top ranking in the major search engines?

Well, its difficult what you are saying but not impossible!. I can suggest you some ways these aren't so relevant but this will work gradually. Some unique points I want to mention here:

Make a 404 page that redirects to your homepage â€“ no point losing visitors

Have an opt-in form â€“ trade links with someone else who has an opt in form on your confirmation page

Add a bookmark this site link in a high profile spot on your site

Use a Tell A Friend Script on your site so people can email their friend about an article on your website.

Have a link to your site on community sites like MySpace and FaceBook

Hold a competition for the Top 50 in your niche â€“ 1 month later post the results and let everyone know who featured â€“ watch them link back to say what there position was.

If you have a product start an affiliate program and start approaching affiliates

If you're on the side of wishing free advise ~ it will be worth what it cost in most cases. No comment to people in this forum as they are reliably helpful to people here. However, business advise of this fashion I think has a higher bar.

People usually don't give valuable information for free especially when it is related to search engine position. Do you expect thousand free traffic from free advice during recession time?

with all the seo tools and the paid placement by major companys its not as easy as a few well placed keywords anymore I have found the best luck with useing google add words.. yes you need to place a ad and bid on price per impression or clicks your ad gets... but your also targeting your niche... on google the largest search engine there is. .. go to my webpage and click on the money button... it will send you to a ad for the same club I learned every thing about internet income from ..... just watch the free videos on there ad...
