Great question. I used to do this for a living! Remember the line from the movie Jerry McGuire, "Show me the Money", it's kinda like that...Seriously, I've always thought the best recruiting techniques started out with building relationships built on trust. You obviously have something to sell right! The sales job! What you need to do is begin building a relationship with the person you are trying to recruit based on the wants and needs the person has you are trying to recruit (tied to the job you are trying to recruit them into). What do you have to offer them? Start building on that. You have a story to tell, keep it brief, but make it dazzling and honest, to the point. Find out what is the most important thing to them and then build the position you have to offer around that key point (if you honestly can) Recruiting needs to come from a place of integrity with a deep sense of values, and when you are recruiting sales, it needs to be peppered with a lot of style! Good Luck..it's a tough job, but when you land the big one, very rewarding! |
