train your sales reps. give them all the rebuttles you can think of, help them create the sales pitch. if the sales pitch works, you will get your sales. commission is the best motivator for sales people. i was one some time ago... no commission - no sales.
give them opportunity to work longer if they want. there are people like me, who goes crazy when sales just roll.... you just want sit there and keep doing it ...
do not drop "i listened to your call, you said "yeah" instead of "yes", and thats why you won't be paid your commission for this sale"... sales rep hate that. help them improve, train them, but your number one priority is sales, so let them speak the way they feel comfortable to speak to make sales. if the customer is responsive, why not count it as a sale?
you can also help your people by encouraging socializing together, parties, drinks or barbecue... atmosphere in the team is also very important. one of the keys in motivation
