Visit commission junction at cj.com and open an account. This will give you access to legit companies that have affiliate programs.
1. Each affiliate program offers different benefits. Some pay you in banner clicks (1000). Others pay cash and keep paying cash as long as one of your referrals keeps buying.
2. eBay pays by the head. Each sign up you get for EBay delivers immediate cash and a nickel every time one of your referrals bids. Get a couple of hundred active bidders and those nickels add up quickly.
3. Select affiliates related to the topicality of your site. If you sell hand crafts supplies, becoming a Harley Davidson affiliate probably won't generate much revenue.
4. Avoid becoming a links farm. Too many affiliate links will get you slammed.
5. I like to put all affiliate links on a single page titled "Our Valued Associates." Sounds better than "We make money off these guys," don't you think?
Track your earnings regularly. CJ does the math, but scams aren't unheard of among affiliates. Go with reputable, brand names and you automatically have the cachet of quality.

Just be careful. Any site that promises QUICK income is a scam. I recently joined this site:

It is a membership site, but what you get back is amazing....you can pay for the membership AND then some...
You have to study a bit, but they do give you step by step instructions on how to make money with little, or no investment. You just need to dedicate some time. But it's legit! I am loving it there. There's a great community of people that are very willing to give you some mentorship. Everything you need is there, the rest is up to you. :)
Many members are reporting income of $300 a day! I would definitely give it a try. |

Here are some pointers for your new venture.
1. Choose your product carefully. If your expertise and/or interest is in golf then you probably don't want to focus on cookie bouquets for your affiliate program. Especially if you have a website focused on golf. Keep your affiliate items in-line with your niche audience for the best return on results.
2. Use the product before you recommend it. There are literally thousands of affiliate opportunities on-line. After choosing the niche you want to focus on use the product yourself. There's nothing worse than finding out that your offerings are substandard in any way.
3. Focus on a few items rather than everything under the sun in your niche. Your audience will then know that what you are recommending is the abosolute best of the best available.

Hey,
to be successful with affiliate marketing is a lot of hard work, first you need to join a program I would suggest clickbank which only deals in digital products , next once you have found a product you need to start marketing it. Now this can be done anyway you want, use your website or blog, write articles on top listed article sites about your product or a topic on that product ie if the product is on car insurance then write an article on car insurance then suggest your chosen product at the end, use forums that allow you, social sites, email lists and everything else that will let you plant your affiliate link. If you keep doing these things then eventually you will be successful. Good luck in your venture
